Kevin Wilkie currently serves 130,000 residents of Williamson County (WILCO) as a Sergeant in the Precinct 3 Constable’s office. He is currently running for the WILCO Constable, Precinct 3 in 2024.
Kevin Wilkie is a Veteran of the U.S. Army, Joining at the age of 18. After leaving the Army, Kevin joined the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), retiring in 2017 at the rank of Captain after serving the community for more than 27 years. Kevin is a man of Faith and is very active in his church, volunteering to provide security during church services.
He became a resident of Williamson County in 2005, when he transferred from El Paso, Texas DPS to Austin, Internal Affairs Division. In 2017, shortly after retiring from the Texas DPS, Kevin was honored to be asked to serve Williamson County in the Precinct 3 Constable's office as a Deputy Constable, where he promoted to Sergeant.
Kevin and his wife, Gigi, live in Georgetown. His daughter, Terry, attended Texas A&M and also received her Masters Degree from Texas Tech. Kevin has enjoyed coaching youth soccer and volunteering in Terry’s schools. He also mentored elementary school students near the DPS Headquarters in Austin.
Kevin has worked with the staff and has extensive experience in Precinct 3 over the past six years. He has had the privilege to observe and be mentored by two outstanding former Constables. As Constable, Kevin will continue to promote the integrity of the Constable’s office, a legacy set by the former and current Constables. He will use his leadership, experience and knowledge of the duties of the Constable’s office to maintain the standards of public service to Williamson County and will serve the office with Integrity, Empathy, and Fairness.
